Mason's 900 Multi-Zoned ShearCare Foam-Pressure Relieving Mattress is designed for patients assessed to be at risk of developing pressure sores. This mattress is comprised of 5 pressure relieving zones specifically designed to reduce interface pressure in the vulnerable heel and torso. The heel section is a die cut high resilient foam layer over our tri-cut channel pressure absorbing zone with collapsible column design. This unique combination offers superior pressure relief and comfort.

•        Top Layer: Torso: Precision cut flat-top high density polyurethane foam - provides a cool sleeping surface eliminating heat build-up. non-shear surface reduces the risk of tissue breakdown.  Heel: High resilient, low ILD foam - provides excellent pressure reduction.
•         Middle Layer: Torso: Medium density solid center core - provides additional comfort and support. Heel: Tri-cut channel design - engineered for maximum pressure relief through a collapsible column design.
•          Bottom Layer: Patient support layer - high density, high ILD foam provides patient support and stability to the mattress.
• Side Rails: SSPT - side support patient transfer - allows for patient security and support during bed transfer.
• Contamination Barrier: Mason's Barrier Stop - this flap reduces the possibility of contamination of the inner core.
