The Mason 1500 Multi-Zoned ShearCare Foam-Pressure Relieving Mattress is designed to provide maximum pressure reduction for the high-risk bariatric patient. The mattress was engineered utilizing a combination of the highest density foams to create an ideal environment for the heavier patient.

- Top Cover: Unitek II Nylon - non-shear; low moisture vapor transmission; fluid resistant; anti-microbial/anti-bacterial; fire-retardant.
- 4 Pressure Zones / 3 Layers
- Top Layer: soft, self-molding, shock-absorbing Visco elastic memory-IIi foam - provides maximum comfort and stability. Latex-free material.
- Middle Layer: Torso: precision die cut foam, provides additional comfort and support. Heel: high resilient, low ILD foam, provides maximum pressure reduction.
- Bottom Layer: Patient support layer, high density, high ILD foam provides patient support and stability to the mattress.
- Side Rails: SSPT Rail System (side support patient transfer) - allows for patient security and support during bed transfer.
- Contamination Barrier: Mason's barrier stop - this flap reduces the possibility of contaminatin of the inner core.
- Bottom Cover: Masongard - triple laminate vinyl; fluid resistant; anti-microbial/anti-bacterial; fire-retardant.
