The Deluxe Clinical Care Drop Arm Reclining Chair by Lumex enables a safer, easier lateral transfer for the resident and caregiver. Transport and maneuverability in confined areas is made easy by four swivel casters and directional wheel lock on the right rear wheel reduces “crabbing” and enables the chair to be moved down hallways with less effort. The wide, contoured seat and back, along with an integrated footrest provide a superior level of comfort, while built-in arm pads in the back give better support for the arms while in Trendelenburg. Wall saver armrest caps increase durability of the armrests and protect walls from marring, durable side tables sit flush with the chair arm and the side panels can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance.
The Trendelenburg position is easy to attain from either side by a convenient foot pedal, a higher floor to back height enables caregiver to raise patient with less effort and less back strain, while an extra deep Trendelenburg position with a steeper angle improves patient stabilization. The heavy-duty recliner mechanism is thicker than the standard for a weight capacity of 350 lbs, and allows for back infinite positioning from TV position to full recline.
