The Ultra Light Plus Semi-Electric Bed by Drive Medical Design weighs less than 150 lbs., has only 5 components and is easily assembled. The motor assembly can be installed or removed with the patient in bed in seconds without tools and the foot section weighs 50% less than conventional foot sections. Motor noise is reduced by a completely self-contained single motor and junction box assembly and the new and improved hand pendant has large easy to use controls. In case of a power failure, the head and foot sections can be lowered nine times with the use of two 9 volt batteries located in the motor. Channel frame construction provides superior strength and reduced weight. Vinyl clad bed ends are heavy duty, easy to maintain and attractive in any décor. The head and foot boards and bed frame are interchangeable with Graham-Field Whisper Lite Bed® and the Drive Medical Ultra Light Plus Semi-Electric Bed offers optional full length or half length side rails.
