The Med Aire Plus 8” Low Air Loss Pump and Mattress Replacement System 14029 by Drive Medical Design is ideal for use in nursing homes and hospitals as well as homes. The mattress helps keep patient cool and speeds recovery time with the use of 20 easy to replace air bladders, 9 with laser cut low air loss function to increase patient comfort. The 8” cells are constructed with Nylon/TPU that is soft, lightweight and will not stretch, and cell in cell design prevents the mattress from bottoming on the bed in case of power failure. The high volume pump produces 8 liters of air per minute and can be used as a static or alternating pressure device. A LED and Audible alarm activates when the pressure falls below 10mmHg and a CPR emergency valve provides fast air release. The zippered cover features a heavyweight TPU material on the outside and a lightweight durable polyester material on the bottom. It is water resistant and vapor permeable, has a quilted bottom for comfort and is machine washable for convenience. (Mattress Replacement System only. Does not include Spring Deck, head and foot boards or side rails)
